Rising Capital’s Indonesian subsidiary, Indonesia Education Development Group, has partnered with the Southwest Papua provincial government to assist 100 local underprivileged students in studying in China. Rising Capital will provide full scholarships for these students, along with a three-year vocational and technical education program. This initiative reflects Rising Capital’s strong commitment to promoting international educational cooperation and talent development in the ASEAN region.
The project focuses on vocational and technical collaboration between ASEAN and China, enhancing the sharing of educational resources and talent exchanges within the region. By collaborating with various sectors in Indonesia, the initiative actively responds to the internationalization strategy of education under the Belt and Road Initiative, contributing to the modernization of education and talent development in ASEAN countries, especially Indonesia.
On January 13, 2024, the first batch of 20 students successfully arrived in China and officially began their vocational and technical education studies. They will learn advanced vocational skills and technologies, which will inject new momentum into the development of their hometown.
